Destiny

From the time that God created our reality he knew what was going to happen through all time. He knew what the impact would be if he would have created another item or not created an item. God longs for all of us to come to the realization of truth, that he is truth, and he created everything that governs our reality. He also wants us to follow along the path that he has layed out for us. This path is what I call our destiny. As we walk along this path throughout our lives we might scew from the course and go our own way, but no matter how far we stary off the path as long as we have the breath of life, in which God has given us to make us live, then we shall have the chance to once again follow our destiny.

For the reason why we all have a destiny I must ask to see if you believe in God (if you do not that is ok for now, but for the rest of the post I will be focused on destiny not if there is or is not a God. I am currently working on another post that will discuss the existince of God.). If there is a higher being that did create life then there must have been a reason for the creation. Which means that there is an over all meaning to why humans exist. In other words a goal for humans to accomplish. If you have a goal in life that you wish to accomplish you must have sub-goals or steps to aquire that goal. The same way for God, if we agree that He created humanity for a purpose then we must accept that He would need a plan full of sub-goals so that His end purpose would be fulfilled. That is where our own destiny comes into play. Our personal destiny is God's sub-goals, so that He may be able to reach the end goal for humanity.

What now you might ask? How do I know what is God's destiny for me? Why should I follow His plan? These are personal questions for you to conquior. Any words of advice I might be able to come up with would be pointless. Yet there are two things I will say for you to help you down your path that we call life; one be mindful that there was a reason you were born and seek that out through truth, and two is pray that you and I will walk the path that He has layed out for us.

Moving On

Moving On...These two words together are some of the two that I hate the most. I was talking to a friend earlier this week and we were discussing friends, both at college and home. When my friend said that you have to be willing to move on with the friendships from high school. After I have been able to think about it more I whole heartedly disagree. I ask why do we have to move on. Why do the best friends that we had in high school all of a sudden disapear into the distance when we arrive at college. I believe people say we need to "move on" because most people are too lazy to keep up these friendships. I am not saying do not branch out into new groups of friends. I AM saying take time and to call and check up on old friends. To not let the nights by the camp fire talking about the meaning of life to go to waist, do not let the days of cring on each others shoulders pass into memory, and do not forget the times when you can look across the room at your friend and start laughing becuase you both are thinking of the same thing. I heard this a couple of weeks ago about a professor that has made this pledge and I have decided that I am now going to also make the same pledge to all of the people that I know. That for as long as I live, if you ever need anything I will help you out in any way I possible can. The friends that you pick are your chosen family do not let them fade into your memory like what you had for breakfast 3 monday's ago.
